We are deeply saddened by the destruction in Haiti. This disaster has not only affected a country long plagued with political and economical turmoil but has directly touched the Healix community. We are aware that some of our colleagues have family and friends who are victims of this terrible tragedy. On behalf of the Directors and Vice Presidents of Healix, we wish to express our concern and support for you at this difficult time.

As healthcare professionals, our natural reflex is to reach out to those suffering. Healix has a strong track record for responding to global disasters and has already established a presence in Haiti through International Medical Outreach (IMO). Founded in 1993 by one of our clients, Todd Price, MD, IMO is a non-profit organization dedicated to providing international humanitarian aid. In 2009, their distribution of medications and supplies through

worldwide projects is valued at over $326 million. IMO is fully committed to supporting the massive global relief efforts related to the recent earthquake. Further details on how IMO intends to use the funds received for this mission are available in the attached letter.

Many of you have asked how you can contribute to the relief effort. As part of our response to the disaster, Healix has organized a fundraising program. We have extended the participation of this program to our clients and employees. If you wish to make a donation, simply complete the attached form and all proceeds will be sent directly to IMO. In addition to donations, IMO is looking for medical professionals to volunteer their services in Haiti. As the scope of damage and recovery becomes more apparent in the days and weeks ahead, Healix will continue providing support. We hope that you will join us in responding to this tragedy, offering both knowledge and contributions to ease the suffering of the survivors.

Our prayers and thoughts are with the Haitian people, all Americans affected by the earthquake, and the men and women who are working to help rebuild Haiti.
